I was inspired to create this painting after a Fall hike up to Lake Helen Mackenzie on Mount Washington. My sister-in-law and I squeezes in a last hike before the rain and snow same. We went on a beautiful day, enjoying the sunshine and taking in the colourful fall ground cover in the meadows. We sat for hours at Helen Mackenzie, and were joined by a Lady Bug that was hanging out on my pack.
Ladybugs are often a symbol of transformation, guidance, and new beginnings, which at this change of seasons felt very fitting!

This painting comes ready to hang and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
